About the club
The Moira Model Aircraft Club (MMAC) has been at it’s current location in Pye RD Cobram (back of moto x club) for some 13 years after relocating from it’s previous location.
In this Time the club has grown from strength to strength, Ranging from community displays to flight training programs for primary school kids heavily involved with the VMAA and the local hobby shop (Pro Hobby).
The members of the club have all rallied together and pulled all trade and sales resources in conjunction with the Moira Shire Council to obtain the assets we enjoy today. They consist of club house with sink and running water, clean male & female flushing toilets, hot shower, concrete apron in the pits, irrigated main runway, hard shelter 60mts long and 5mts wide covering the pit area & a fire fighting trailer.
We are a nondiscriminatory club enjoying all facets of this wonderful hobby, Jets, Helicopters, gliders, electrics, scale, control line and sport aircraft are all welcome.
The MMAC promote and encourage new interested parties to come out and have a look and possibly give it a trial go with one of two club owned trainers. Our members are all only to happy to give you a go and we don’t bite. (or ring Jason Sagaidak 0429 239 308 to make prior arrangements to have a go)
